Bush in Budapest
Yesterday I had the chance to be there on Citadella, when George W. Bush had his speech closing his visit in Budapest. This was the second time in my life when I could see him live. The first was in the U.S. during his rally in the election campaign (2004). Now I could see him much closer, as I was sitting in the 3rd row right in front of him. It was terrible to wait for him on the hill at least for two hours in custom when the temperature was 34 degrees. The speech was at about 15-20 minutes without those big messages which were expected by the international media. And I am not sure that drawing a parallel between the Hungarian revolution in 1956 and the current situation in Iraq was a good idea. Anyway, I am proud of taking part in such a big event.
